Have We Met? Live Announces Charlie Rocket, Damona Hoffman & Case Kenny as Keynote Speakers

Meet the Keynote Speakers Bringing Big Ideas—and a Lot of Heart—to Have We Met? Live

What happens when single adults from across the country come together for three days built around connection, adventure, meaningful conversation, and a whole lot of fun?

We’re about to find out.

Have We Met? Live is coming to the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino March 30–April 1, 2027, and we’re excited to announce three of the voices who will help shape the experience: Charlie Rocket, Damona Hoffman, and Case Kenny.

Each brings a very different perspective to the stage. Together, their messages touch on some of the questions at the heart of modern single life: What are you doing with the life you have right now? How are you connecting with other people? What beliefs are shaping the way you see yourself and your future? And what becomes possible when you stop waiting for the next chapter and start building it?

A Singles Event That’s About More Than Dating

Have We Met? Live isn’t three days of sitting in a ballroom listening to people tell you how to find a relationship.

Dating will absolutely be part of the conversation. Bring together single adults from across the country and there are bound to be sparks. But romantic connection is only one part of what it means to live a full single life.

Friendship matters. Community matters. So do adventure, health, purpose, confidence, personal growth, and simply having people to do things with.

That philosophy has grown directly from what we’ve learned through Have We Met? Events. Walking into a room full of strangers and being told to “mingle” can feel like work. Give those same strangers something to experience together, and the dynamic changes. Activities create natural conversation. Shared experiences give people common ground. Laughter makes introductions a whole lot easier.

That’s why Have We Met? Live will combine keynote speakers and breakout conversations with entertainment, wellness, activities, games, parties, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being in Las Vegas with people who are open to meeting someone new.

Our three keynote speakers reflect that bigger vision.

Charlie Rocket: What Could Happen If You Started Saying Yes?

Charlie Rocket will open Have We Met? Live as our Opening Keynote Speaker, setting the tone for the three days ahead with a message rooted in possibility, resilience, and taking action on the life you want to create.

Charlie is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and founder of the Dream Machine Foundation. His own story includes dramatic personal and professional transformation, and his work has inspired millions of people to reconsider what may be possible when life – or their own assumptions – tells them otherwise.

That perspective feels particularly relevant to single adults because it can be surprisingly easy to postpone parts of life while waiting for a relationship. Maybe you’ll take the trip when you have someone to travel with. You’ll try the new restaurant when you have a date. You’ll go to the concert, sign up for the class, or tackle the bucket-list adventure when there’s someone beside you to do it with.

Charlie’s message offers another possibility: build the life now.

Opening Have We Met? Live with that sense of possibility gives us exactly the energy we want people carrying into the experience. Try something new. Walk into the room. Meet the stranger. Say yes before you know exactly where yes might lead.

Damona Hoffman: A Smarter Conversation About Modern Dating

While Have We Met? Live is about much more than dating, we also aren’t going to pretend modern dating is simple.

Damona Hoffman will open Day Two as our keynote speaker, bringing decades of experience helping people understand dating, relationships, communication, and connection in a culture that has changed dramatically.

Damona is a dating expert, relationship coach, author, and past host of the Dates & Mates podcast. Her work explores everything from dating apps and compatibility to communication, expectations, and the patterns people bring into relationships.

Modern singles are navigating more apparent choice than almost any generation before them, yet many still describe dating as frustrating or exhausting. Apps can be useful tools, but they can also encourage incredibly fast decisions about people based on a handful of photos and prompts. Add social media’s endless supply of red flags, green flags, rules, and relationship advice, and finding meaningful connection can start to feel unnecessarily complicated.

Damona brings experience and nuance to that conversation. Her work invites people to think not only about where they meet someone, but about how they show up when they do.

Creating more opportunities for people to meet is part of the Have We Met? mission. Creating opportunities for better human connection is the larger goal.

Case Kenny: Closing With Optimism About What Comes Next

After three days of new people, new experiences, and big conversations, Case Kenny will take the stage as the Closing Keynote Speaker for Have We Met? Live.

Case is an author, keynote speaker, and teacher whose work explores the linguistics and psychology of optimism. As Chief Optimist at Optimism.com and host of New Mindset, Who Dis?, he has built a global audience around mindfulness, self-talk, intentionality, and the language we use to understand ourselves.

His perspective gives us an important way to close this particular event because the stories we tell ourselves about being single matter.

Singlehood is often treated as an in-between state – the period after one relationship and before another. Even well-meaning conversations can carry the assumption that the ultimate goal is to stop being single, as though relationship status determines whether this chapter of life is successful.

We’re interested in challenging that idea.

You can want partnership and still love the life you’re building. You can date intentionally without treating every person you meet as an audition for your future. You can be optimistic about love while also being optimistic about everything else your life might hold.

Case’s work gives us an opportunity to end Have We Met? Live looking forward—not simply toward who someone might meet next, but toward who they’re becoming and what they want to create.

Big Ideas, Yes. But We’re Also Going to Have Some Fun.

Charlie Rocket, Damona Hoffman, and Case Kenny weren’t chosen because they all talk about the same thing. Charlie invites us to think about possibility and action. Damona brings us into the realities of modern dating and meaningful connection. Case asks us to examine the beliefs and optimism we carry into whatever comes next.

Together, those perspectives reflect what we want Have We Met? Live to be: a place where conversations about single life are allowed to be bigger than dating.

But we also don’t want anyone mistaking this for a three-day self-improvement seminar.

There will be plenty of substance, but there will also be plenty of play.

Throughout Have We Met? Live, attendees will have opportunities to move, explore, learn, play, laugh, and spend time together. Some experiences will be energetic. Others will create room for deeper conversations. There will be entertainment, wellness, social activities, games, parties, breakout sessions, and spaces where nothing is required except showing up and seeing who you meet.

For some attendees, romance will be part of the excitement. Others may leave with new friends, travel buddies, professional connections, or a group chat that remains active long after everyone gets home. Some may discover something about themselves that has nothing to do with another person at all.

We want all of those outcomes to count.

Coming Alone? You Won’t Be the Only One.

One of the things we hear most often through our local Have We Met? Events is some version of, “I’d love to come, but I don’t know anyone.”

We understand the hesitation. Walking into an unfamiliar social environment by yourself can be intimidating, especially when the event has the word “singles” attached to it.

That’s one reason Have We Met? Live is being designed around shared experiences rather than relying on unstructured mingling. Activities give people something to talk about. Games create interaction without requiring a perfect opening line. Experiences give strangers immediate common ground.

Coming alone doesn’t mean spending three days alone. In fact, arriving without an established group may be one of the best reasons to come.

A Bigger Vision for Single Life

Have We Met? Live grew from a belief that single adults deserve more spaces built specifically for the lives they’re living now – not experiences that assume everyone is lonely or messaging that suggests singlehood is something that needs to be fixed.

There’s room for dating and romance in that vision. There’s also room for friendship, community, adventure, personal growth, travel, laughter, and belonging.

Charlie Rocket, Damona Hoffman, and Case Kenny will each bring an important voice to that conversation, but the people on stage are only part of the story. The introduction over breakfast, the person sitting next to you in a breakout session, the team you end up playing with, and the strangers who become your Vegas crew are part of the experience too.

Ultimately, Have We Met? Live isn’t about spending three days waiting to meet the person.

It’s about discovering what can happen when you become open to meeting people.
