A Salt Lake City speed dating experience produced by Molly Bitton and matchmaker Kristin Sokol was featured in Season 4, Episode 4 of Hulu’s hit reality series.
Sometimes the best connections begin when you put down the phone, walk into a room and actually meet someone.
That philosophy made its way to reality television when Have You Met? Events founder Molly Bitton and professional matchmaker Kristin Sokol brought together 10 women and 10 men for a speed dating experience filmed for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
The event appears in Season 4, Episode 4, “The Book of Exodus,” which follows Taylor Frankie Paul as she navigates the prospect of dating again while preparing for The Bachelorette. The episode was released March 12, 2026.
As seen on Hulu: Have You Met? Events founder Molly Bitton and matchmaker Kristin Sokol produced the 20-person speed dating experience featured in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Season 4, Episode 4.

20 Singles, One Room and a Very Different Kind of First Date
Filmed at Edison House in Salt Lake City, the experience brought together 20 Utah singles—10 women and 10 men—for an evening designed to make introductions happen quickly, naturally and with a little fun built in.
Among the participants was Bubba Page, who joined nine other eligible bachelors for the experience.
Taylor Frankie Paul, Jessi Draper (Ngatikaura) and Miranda Hope took part in the storyline surrounding the event, with Taylor suddenly finding herself face-to-face with a room full of potential dates.
And that was precisely the point.
Speed dating removes many of the barriers that make meeting someone in everyday life surprisingly difficult. There is no wondering whether someone is available, no trying to determine whether it is appropriate to introduce yourself and no weeks of messaging before discovering whether there is chemistry.
For a few minutes, two people simply sit across from one another and talk.
Then they meet someone else.

Creating the Room Where Connection Can Happen
For Bitton, producing the experience was about more than assembling 20 single people in one place.
It was about creating an environment where interaction was expected, comfortable and easy to begin.
That same philosophy drives Have You Met? Events and its Utah singles community, Singles Mingle Events. From hikes and 5Ks to game nights, sports, social experiences and larger gatherings, the goal is to remove some of the friction that keeps adults from meeting one another in real life.
Instead of asking people to walk into a crowded room and somehow figure out who to approach, intentionally designed experiences give them a reason to interact.
A shared activity becomes the introduction.
A prompt starts the conversation.
And sometimes a few minutes across a table is enough to discover that you want another conversation.
Have You Met? Events describes its mission as creating inclusive, real-life experiences that spark genuine human connection through shared experiences, play and intentional event design.

Matchmaking Meets Event Design
Bringing matchmaker Kristin Sokol into the experience added another dimension.
Sokol’s work focuses on dating, relationships and helping singles recognize the patterns that shape the people they choose. Following the speed dating experience, the episode continues into a conversation about dating patterns and preparing to approach relationships differently.
That combination – intentional event design and relationship expertise – made the experience more than a made-for-TV setup.
It created a real opportunity for people to practice something that has become surprisingly unfamiliar in an increasingly digital dating culture: meeting someone new, face-to-face.
The moment also reflects something Have You Met? Events sees repeatedly at singles events across Utah. People aren’t necessarily unwilling to talk to one another. Often, they simply need an environment that makes starting the conversation easier.
From Utah Singles Events to Something Much Bigger
The appearance on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives represents another step in the growth of Have You Met? Events.
What began with the idea of creating better ways for singles to meet in person has grown into a calendar of interactive events throughout Utah and the development of Have We Met? Live, a three-day national experience coming to Las Vegas March 30–April 1, 2027.
The scale may be different, but the idea remains remarkably simple:
Create the right environment, give people a reason to interact and see what happens when they actually meet.
For 20 singles at Edison House, that meant speed dating.
For viewers of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, it offered a glimpse at what meeting people beyond the apps can actually look like.
And for Have You Met? Events, it was another opportunity to do what the company was built to do:
Get good humans in the same room – and make it easier for them to say hello.
